Role Overview
As the Social Media Manager at Green Mountain Tech, you will be the heartbeat of our online presence. You will develop and execute our social media strategy, creating engaging and authentic content that drives traffic and increases brand awareness. You will collaborate closely with our marketing, design, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive voice and message across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, curate, and manage published content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing campaigns that align with our overall business goals.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts; make data-driven improvements.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages and participating in discussions to foster relationships.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure our strategy and content remain relevant and effective.
- Collaborate with other departments to produce promotional materials, announcements, and customer success stories.
- Manage the social media calendar, coordinating campaigns and ensuring timely execution.
- Assist in the development of social media advertising strategies and budgets to promote products and services.
- Conduct competitive analyses and research to enhance social media strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably within the tech industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, best practices, and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for engaging content.
- Data-driven with the ability to analyze and interpret social media metrics.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and storytelling abilities.
- Experience with social media advertising and familiarity with platforms like Facebook Ads Manager and Google Analytics.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
